I think I can officially announce a hiatus, probably until the end of the year. 🫩 By then, my exams will be over and I'll be a free elf again. The amount of stress is honestly horrible. I was not made for this 🫠

A soft horse lady! 🤍 I’d like to offer this design for sale, she’ll be available through Ko-Fi within the next few days! She comes with an additional NSFW version and I can add a name if desired. If anyone would like to make an offer beforehand, feel free! I’m looking for at least €50 for her. 🤍

My gym adventure is going amazingly well, I’m feeling much more balanced, but my body type is working HARD against me. I gain muscle like crazy, I'm hungry as hell, but barely lose any fat. All I wanted was a little definition, but apparently I'm 100% becoming a strongman. 😐 #LauraTalks

I don't want to make any promises, but today might finally be the day I pick another character from the PWYW thread and... 🫴 draw. Exam prep is taking absolutely everything out of me. I really hope all these years will have been worth it in the end. #LauraTalks

when it's boiling hot but the kitty wants to cuddle

a sketchy line drawing: a sweaty person is sitting on a sweaty couch with a sweaty cat on them, in the background there's a window with enormous spiky rayed sun, a sweaty dead plant and a picture of a desert on the wall. The person asks "why are we doing this" and the cat says "we gotta"

Everyone: Attention please. This is an official request for cat photos. Please post them. Serotonin levels are critically low. Requirements: Only the best, cutest, most perfect, cuddliest cats are allowed. (Side note: Every cat on this planet meets these requirements.) Thanks. #LauraTalks

We're about an hour into Beast of Reincarnation, and Kuu is a very, very good boy! 🥹 (I can't stop thinking about AlectorFencer while watching, though) Not quite sure if it will keep my interest for long (the setting isn't really my thing), but I'm still curious where it goes! #LauraTalks

Do I have any bird nerds following me? My balcony camera (the one I use to spy on birds like a perfectly normal person) picked up a new guest at the feeder today. The image quality is incredible, I know, but could this be the back of a great spotted woodpecker? 🤔 (~20cm) #LauraTalks

I’d love to hear what you think of this art style. It’s much faster and easier for me to do, and I feel it loses little „quality“ compared to my usual, cleaner work, which would be great. (Let’s ignore that these are only busts… I can’t manage more right now 🥲 Hope it’s not too boring.)

Over the past few weeks, I’ve become friends with a whole bunch of garden birds. Of all the things I’ve found meditative so far, watching little (and big) birds on my balcony ranks very high on the list.

A great tit perched on a small branch in a flower pot pecks at some food.

Well. Looks like I’ve slipped into burnout again after just a few years. Life is hard, and I still find it difficult to accept that my health keeps me from being as capable as other people. But yesterday I actually called in sick because of it. I think that’s a pretty solid first step 😅 [1/2]

A brief sign of life from me. I’m currently spending a lot of time in nature. Climbing mountains, even the smallest ones, is liberating. The company of my new friend, an old Haflinger mare, is healing. Everything that makes no noise, both inwardly and outwardly, draws me in.
