Far more than 3,018 push-ups achieved! Way to go 3018 Royal Canadian Army Cadets - Orléans for slamming your push-up-a-thon challenge, to raise money for your unit and awareness about cadets in our community! Between rounds, I was honoured to meet incredible young women who were leading the pack.

Thank you to everyone who joined my family skate at Lois Kemp Arena. Seeing confident gliders and first‑time skaters share the ice was wonderful. And of course, hot chocolate after a cool skate made the night even better. Grateful for this community. #community #skate #connection

An inspiring show of support at the 2026 Ottawa Downtown Coldest Night of the Year walk. This event highlights the challenges of homelessness and the importance of The Ottawa Mission’s services. Still time to help meet the $200K goal. More information at en.cnoy.org/location/ott.... #CNOY

Welcomed my colleague Councillor David Hill to Ward 2 for a great conversation over fresh-made cannoli at Café Amore. Moments like this remind me that Council works best when we take time to listen, learn from each other, and collaborate across wards. #Council #Collaborate #CaféAmore

Rideau River ice blasting begins this Saturday. City teams will conduct controlled blasts to break up melting ice and reduce flood risk. Please stay clear of the river. Blasting creates open water, strong currents, and unstable ice. #RideauRiver #FloodPrevention #Kaboom

As of Feb 23, 13,973 potholes have been filled in Ottawa. Up from 7,243 last year. Freeze/thaw cycles create the perfect recipe for more. City crews are working in overdrive this year to stay ahead and they rely on residents to help report them. See one? Report it: ottawa.ca/en/3-1-1/rep...

I had the privilege of presenting a proclamation declaring Feb 21 as Great Canadian Kilt Skate Day in Ottawa. It’s a small civic act, but traditions like the Kilt Skate connect us across Canada and Scotland, and remind us to celebrate winter and our Scottish heritage. #Ottawa #ScottishHeritage
