I couldn’t find Gidget for a bit because she doesn’t often use the cave in their cat cube, but her sister found her right away.

The Pacific Northwest is so gorgeous. And I loved seeing all the plants and wildlife - we even saw jellyfish as well as several sea lions swimming through the marina!

Gadget is always on - even when sleeping she’ll wake up ready if there is even a hint of action. Gidget has shorter bursts and will probably get the zommies around 11. So far it’s stayed up with Gadget using it as a napping/ambushing spot.

It was such a pleasant surprise! And there was a nearby lake where I saw tadpoles! (I tried to take a photo of them, but it didn’t work since they were too tiny and the water/underwater vegetation was too dark)

We pause the meeting (as my boss laughs at me) and I run to get the only solution to the problem: cat treats. Gidget is all over me in a second and Gadget has a super tight squeeze but manages to get out of that narrow space - now covered in dust of course.

I miss watching animal videos without realizing halfway through that it’s fake AI drivel. Animal videos are fun because they connect us to another species and let us see how other beings react to the world. It’s often adorable and delightful! And AI slop ruins all that.

AI discourse is on the rise again, and I want to make it clear that I HATE AI. The plagiaristic slop is bad for the environment, bad for people’s minds, and is ruining the Internet. I will never willingly use it and I wish it would disappear forever.
