I read that there are 3 thousand and something state police officers. Why are like a THIRD of them defending a concentration camp in Newark? Seems like an insanely disproportionate response to a peaceful protest. So disappointed with Mikie Sherrill. Very distressing.

I graduated HS that year. It was great. The whole year was a celebration, and I was in Florida. It was a blue state then. Disney held a graduation party for all the seniors. The Ohio Players, K.C. & The Sunshine Band and a bunch of other big acts played for us. It was a very good year. Sigh.

Because the whole point of it was to involve politicians, judges and financiers who could be blackmailed into shielding him. We want him out. But they have crippled the mechanism to remove him. He is the front man for a network of powerful monsters. It's a lot to unwind. But it will happen.

My family was sustained by the social safety net 53 years ago when my stepdad was hospitalized with bone cancer. My mother had an infant at home & 2 other kids to feed. When he recovered he went back to work which gave us much more money. Nobody wants to be on food stamps. It's a pittance.

I had a similar delightful encounter with a man who claimed to be a trauma therapist. Insane escalation over some mild remarks I made when he was being rude to someone else. Must be a profession that attracts bullies. The kind that cause trauma in the first place. Wild.
