(As someone asked) I know I'm kinda... romanticizing it a bit, but I like seeing things this way.

Question : I just remembered Cyrus is still stuck in the Distortion World years after his defeat. Imagine if he just popped back to the present and see all the changes, how well (or unwell) do you think he'll take it?

Answer: I have two headcanons about that.
1: Cyrus enjoyed the Distortion World and seeks to return there. He has become totally apathetic (even more than he already was) and has started to reject all human relationships.
He would probably learn about what happened in Galar and Kalos, and that would comfort him in his life choices, considering that Rose and Lysandre would never act this way if they weren't driven by their emotions.

If he comes back as a member of Team Rainbow Rocket, he wouldn't even waste time negotiating with Giovanni. Cyrus would simply go back to where he came from.

2: The Distortion World was a nightmare, and Cyrus came back traumatized. He admits that it was a mistake and tries to find a new goal, maybe a less radical one.

If he comes back as a member of Team Rainbow Rocket, he would never admit it, but the presence of a sunshine-like figure such as Archie (the one from ORAS, I mean) would make him feel better after this nightmare. Cyrus would even become friends with him and Lysandre.

That's kind of the Cyrus I always draw in my comics. He still thinks that emotions make humans imperfect, but he starts to accept them. He always stays neutral about Lysandre, Maxie, and Archie's bullshit because he kind of enjoys this world where he finally starts to feel like he fits in. Happy ending yay

My biggest fear about my exam on Friday is that it’s 3H LONG and I’m scared my ADHD brain is just gonna give up halfway through.
