Currently reading the 2008 Gears of War comic from Wildstorm/DC, pretty on par with the original game's tone and direction though same time this is how I realize Furman wrote the Starcraft comic huh?

Text advertising the 2009 StarCraft comic
"Simon Furman (Transformers) spins a tale of betrayal, battles and alien infestations. Federico Dallocchio, Mike S, Miller, Brian Denham and Carlos D'Andra provide the stunning visuals for this bleak future."

I feel like people who worry about Funny Valentine's emoji speak at the finale not getting adapted needs to remember how Hail 2 U got adapted (or least I hope it gets adapted in similar fashion)

Screenshot of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders anime featuring the smoke in shape of the robotic appearing stand Judgement with the text "Hail 2 U" on the screen along with direct text conversion for local Japanese audiences.

You know it feels fucked that IDW had two Transformers reboot runs for two beloved series in the early 2020s, only for one being a genuine blast that deserved a MUCH longer run; while the other were one good mini by default that didnt do the previous incarnation justice and a sequel mini that was 🤷

I am so happy I finally gave Kagurabachi a read.

Two men (Chihiro Rokuhira left; Togo Shiba) from Kagurabachi chapter 2 where the one on the right tells the one on the left "I'm here for support" with a thumbs up while the one on the left facing away from him replies "Thanks."

That said due to how flexible continuity is with Umamusume overall I think she is a COWARD for the hot spring rejection at the end of the Super Creek's career good ending in Pretty Derby.

Mario Kart Double Dash!! spiritual successor where the karts themselves are much like Transformers Swapticons where the character roster takes up half of the kart(s) themselves and can be "swapped" around in a mix-and-match fashion to create some interesting combos.

Stock photography featuring the back of a Transformers Swapticons Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus two-pack demonstrating the toyline's interchangeable gimmick with other characters such as Shockwave, Autobot Hot Rod, and Cheetor.

Tossing this in the notepad to avoid character limit bs as an experiment.

PC notepad screenshot with the following text:

Comparing Monsterverse Goji to Power Rangers feel weird to me
since while I get it's how America be sometimes with imported media,
MV is at least made with love for the Showa era movies that did came here
dubbed while PR is a product of a Regan-era practice that only hurts itself
the long it goes whether it still is cynical about being a kid-aimed superhero show
or shows genuine love like around In Space to Mystic Force. Both have flaws sure
but this is very apples to oranges where the fruit similarity is just America
doesnt import tokusatsu enough.

God I love how the genre is straight up called "special effects". And I genuinely mean it too since its always nice to see glimpses of the magic and go "wow" and "Thats a very clever!".
