iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

AleXa released a new single today! The instrumental is really cool, but the lyrics are quite sad. They could also be potentially triggering to some people if I understood them correctly. But I don’t understand singing well, so until I see an official transcript, I can’t confirm the exact lyrics.

If you can, please give the mv a watch. DSP is an RBW subsidiary, and the only chance we have of convincing RBW to drop the ai is if we support mvs like this.

Hyojung from OH MY GIRL has made her solo debut and, as far as I can tell, the mv doesn't have any ai 🎉 Hyojung co-composed and co-wrote all the songs!

Yeah I'm extremely impressed with HEART OF WOMAN's debut! If the company can just completely drop the gen ai, it'll be as close to perfect as you can get

omg definitely one of my favorite songs on the album! The nostalgia this song evokes wow

I tend to prefer stronger vocal tones, but as far as softer tones go, theirs are really lovely.

I really like this b-side! The mv overall is nice, but I suspect there are a few moments of ai vfx so 😒

From what I’ve seen in the comments, it sounds like SL just changed some of the inclusions in the album. The ai art on the covers is still there 😑 Yeah, considering they haven’t acknowledged or apologized for the ai over the year this has been happening, this isn’t a surprise 🙄

Well guess I can’t complain about the name as much since Arirang is probably replacing Simply K-pop with this Show K-pop mu show lol. I feel sad losing Simply though. I doubt the lineups on Show K-pop will center nugu/underrated artists as much as Simply did.

Ohhh, Arirang is behind this new show. I did notice Simply K-pop hasn’t aired in a while. Makes sense, because Simply K-pop used to film on Mondays, so this is probably replacing it. And they got Matthew from ZEROBASEONE to MC?! 😮 x.com/koreanpopbas...

Arirang TV announces ‘SHOW K-POP,’ a new weekly music show premiering on October 19, with ZB1’s MATTHEW as the premiere MC.

Voting will be held exclusively on Mubeat, with broadcasts streamed live on TikTok.

Also calling it Show K-pop 😭 Like ok we couldn’t come up with a better name? It’s easy to get mixed up with The Show and Simply K-pop as well 😂

I don’t know how to feel about this lol. Now there’s a music show every day of the week, so mid-tier and some smaller artists will be on shows every day. That’s a lot… But promotion periods are shorter now than they used to be. And to be fair, The Show has a lot of weeks where it doesn’t air.

uhhh apparently there’s going to be a new k-pop music show on Mondays?! 🔗: x.com/liveshowupda...

This performance was so cool! The dance breaks and the inclusion of their other songs 🔥

It seems like the founder of H.O.W's company used to work at KQ and Belift, so I guess they managed to save up & make a lot of connections through their time at those companies. This is a really high quality debut overall, I'm impressed. And to invest in a girl group of all adults in these times?! 💗

I believe this is the title track and it is also quite good!

Song, styling, and choreo are good!

Not really into this song, but the STYLING 😍 Though I feel like the styling doesn't 100% suit the vibe of this song, but I'm not going to nitpick too much lol

I was kinda scared to watch this, but turns out it's a performance video (no ai, phew) and they filmed it over here in LA!

The song lengths though... definitely could be better in that area, but considering what most groups are putting out these days, it is what it is I guess...
