Id have it said too that I told alex I asked my dad and he was like “theres no chance in hell hell go looking for a plush for you” (bc my dad is frugal and would typically laugh at a silly purchase like this) but never underestimate the bond between a dad and his daughter 😇

I asked lil bro WHO LIVES IN NY if he is ever by a store to see if they have this thing I couldn’t find in our trip “hmm ill try, I am rarely over there…” (as if the subways isnt a quick cheap thing) Dad has a few DAYS in London and makes it his top priority to go to the store for the UK version 🥰

Let me eat my words, you can swap the vegan dog for any of the other toppings. So here is my vegan k-pop dog. I will have to go back for the other ones! My coworker got the cubano. I was also worried if it was that much for just the hot dog but they do come with fries or $1 less for no fries.

Did I know it was going to be popular? Absolutely, and I could have camped out if I wanted to, I chose not to because I was hoping people would buy what they needed, and figured they would focus on the top ticket items, did not expect them to buy out the entire collection

My local Starbucks was wiped CLEAN at 5 am open, I luckily found some at a place resellers didn’t think to look when I awoke. FB marketplace is already filled with listings, wish I bought more to sell for genuine fans for the retail price tbh but didn’t think people were being this greedy.

Last plug: she has regular brazilian food too like pastel (our “empanadas”), brazilian hot dogs and other things, so no worries if seafood is not your jam! I definitely recommend if anyone is ever looking for Brazilian food.

Acarajé da Drica was finally by us (shes usually by metrowest of course) and I had to get a bit of everything I grew up eating: acarajé, abará, caruru, vatapá, casquinha de siri, bolinho de estudante and banana real. She’s the real deal, surprisingly better than anything from Sao Paulo/south brazil

Food from bahia is rich in afro-brazilian culture and traditions, traditional food (rich in ingredients like shrimp, palm oil, beans) is cooked and served by the famous “baianas do acarajé”, keeping flavors and practices traditional and special. Drica is a true Baiana and her flavors proved it.

Food from Bahia is really hard to replicate/find. Even when we moved within the same country to São Paulo you couldn’t find authentic acarajé due to the specific ingredients and cultural recipes. I had heard from old coworkers who were also from Salvador that Orlando had a true baiana.

the feedings were for a pumpkin sourdough, i was only playing around with the shape for cute fall ideas, but last minute decided to add some pumpkin as an inclusion…didn’t play with the hydration enough and it got too wet and flat. Trial and error (🤞 for the crumb) it will still be tasty though!

The hummus is getting so much hate online but as someone who grew up with homemade hummus from my lebanese grandma, this was delish. Small? Sure. I am glad there was a veggie option this year, but hope its more creative than a dip next time!

I know we posted this before but seriously six ravens surprised me again, I was not excited for the grilled cheese, but it was the only flavor left I could have since I already had the veggie one. Wow, the sauce is like a tomato soup and the cofyn itself is anything but boring, ill be back for it.
