I got a card when Jenny died. I had ordered her food a couple of weeks before her passing so, there was no need for a refund and my sister knew someone who had a dog that needed the food.

I think many people just dumped the cans on their lawn. Once that kid said it was too religious at that end, everyone just stopped coming. More candy for my sister's coworkers in the end since I had a good amount leftover.

My mom talked about a cousin who got a perch bone stuck in their throat. She told me and my sister to always be aware of bones in fish, even the cod they served at Long John Silvers could still have a stray bone in there.

Cheap coffee means awful twice brewed diner coffee where I live. We do have some local shops in the area but, little middle school kids and little high school kids go to them and order ultra loaded drinks to screw up the counter help.

The cat we owned before the bird cat was a vicious mouser who managed to scare them all off. He would play with the victim before eating half of it and leaving the bottom end for my parents to find.

We let the bird out the first time through the bedroom window. The second time, the injured bird was taken to a nearby vet. We were told it wasn't worth saving and they left it to die. We gave the third one a chance to get out through a window, it trapped itself behind my desk and the cat got it.

We had one invade the upstairs bedroom and took it as a sign to adopt a new cat. Another one got in through the basement and our four month old kitten managed to catch it. One more got in upstairs, now two year old cat hunted it and caught it. We never did find the body.

My mom made this one pot meal I called "spite soup". She was on the verge of a bad depressive episode and made a chili with turkey because my dad wouldn't stop talking about a white chili a coworker had. It sat for a week in the pot and I had to throw it out due to fuzzy mold.

It means no pork products are used. I think I've seen jelly candy made with Kosher gelatin but, I'm not too sure what it would be made from. I know some vegan gummies are tapioca based and make for a chewy candy.

I saw a post a few years back of a woman complaining about a brand of gummy candy having a Halal seal on it. She was a vegan who was for certain that Halal meant that the animals were tortured.
