Seeing the Planet of the Apes scene in Spaceballs... "Dear me, what are these things coming out of her nose?" "Venture capitalists." "Oh shit, there goes the platform."

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition. Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology

She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Hey @brave.com - could you add the flag for "New Tab Page refresh" to the settings of the new tab page? I don't really like that there is now only one row of favourite links. Or maybe make the number of rows a setting? Luckily, Leo mentioned brave://flags/ in regards to vertical/horizontal tabs.

Screenshot of a part of the page https://eu.switch-bot.com/de/products/switchbot-lock-ultra, on which mainly the text for the country selection is very wrong.
[Can't really translate that back to English.]
On other parts, nouns in English have turned into verbs in German, so instead of "[the] bundle" it uses "[to] bundle", and (not shown in the screenshot), the word "lock" is sometimes left in English and sometimes translated to "[to] lock/close sth."

Here's the 1st sample/prototype of the Galaxy Cane/Walking Stick. They need to fix some issues but it's looking great so far! It's 100% carbon fibre! Adjustable! Comes with 2 tips and a strap! The Strawberry and Bat pattern ones are being worked on. What do you think?

War cry always has me think Xena. First time I have heard of Alala, which kind of is what Lucy Lawless vocalises with her war cry. And she did that without any tools which I still find crazy.

The German word is "Hexenschuss", "witch's shot", naming a suddenly occurring back pain. There is medieval art of witches literally shooting people in the back with a bow and arrow, so it seems they did believe that witches were directly responsible for the pain. Humans. 😂
