I'd say it's the current administration that causes everyone to doubt the integrity of the upcoming elections and them being able to govern effectively.

Late to the party, I've just finished The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. What a beautiful show! And what a major bummer it got canceled 😞 #TheDarkCrystal #Netflix #JimHenson

Patiently waiting for the Switch 2 version. That will definitely come. Right?... Right???

Read the interview, those quotes where two different answers taken out of context. He meant Sony should do another Uncharted game, if they want to make money. And he would do it because he had so much fun doing the other games.

I've always likened the movie to a theme park ride. Especially in 3D. What a breathtaking experience!

Any chance for a physical CD release of @gordyhaab.bsky.social's soundtrack?

One of the most important punches in movie history.

Gotta agree, the physicality added by the smoke makes these hits feel so much more palpable than your typical prequel/sequel lightsaber flashes. You've really nailed the practical effects look!

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is.

Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.

Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.

an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

My most unexpected music-on-hold experience was a metal version of the Saber Riders theme while on hold with my phone company.

For what it's worth, it's not the same photo. They are taken at different moments in time and from slightly different positions. Or are you suggesting they edited the positions of all people in relation to the plane and stuff like Trump looking in a different direction as well?

Gotta say, I liked Weezer a lot in my 20s, but I guess at Hurley (which I quite liked), it started to feel weird that middel-aged men kept singing about hooking up with college girls.

So, since people are doing this... Super Mario Wonder made the list because it's the game I played the most with my daughter, so it mostly wasn't about the game.

I remember renting this one from a PC store in our town (that also let you rent games) and playing it for quite a bit. I found the procedurally generated aspect of ot quite fascinating.

I think my introduction to The Scumm Bar came through the Mix'n'Mojo community in the early 2000s, so there was already quite a line-up of other sites under that roof. It didn't fully dictate my career trajectory, but caused some cool "side quests".

It's at least somewhat comforting to think that he'd most likely crumble like a cookie should he ever try to physically assault anyone.
