Just beat Pokemon Unbound, a fairly difficult Pokemon Romhack and was wondering what people would think if I told them one of the genuine contenders for MVP.

It's always felt like extremely backwards logic to me, if I or some casual Twitch using Pokemon fan wants to watch Pokemon Emerald, how does it make any lick of sense for their first instinct to be to check the latest game category???

I've heard Nine Sol's name passed around here and there and I don't think I've played a game where I can feel the aura when you play out of your mind parrying every hit coming your way and capitalizing on every opening. It feels like pure ecstasy. A feeling I doubt other games will match for me.

Laser @laserglow.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Been doing a Ruby Professor Oak Challenge and during the process I picked these two up, we'll see if I get more (It's likely tbh). It's a new experience as I don't think I've gotten any shinies in Gen 3 before.

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Pokemon Sapphire RetroAchievements all of which being attained.

This is my 2nd or 3rd godpack, getting a crown card with it is pretty hype even if the other cards aren't terribly exciting for me.

Bought this game on release day cause of a random whim as I'm not super wise and finally got to it like 2 weeks ago but it was pretty fun! Probably not the new king of Mario Sports games but I was satisfied with my purchase, shame I don't know enough people to play random multiplayer games with.

Laser @laserglow.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

We hit a new personal best.

Swampert gaining +16 Attack from a single level up in Pokemon Sapphire.

For the people that like even bigger number go up.

A Lunatone gaining +14 Special Attack from 1 level up.

Older Gen EV Training is funny sometimes.

A Lunatone leveling up in Pokemon Sapphire, gaining +11 Special Attack due to acquiring a bunch of EVs before leveling up.

Been meaning to play this game for years as I loved the first Somnium Files and there's a third one that released last year so I'm very happy to be more caught up now, very story heavy title so it's hard to talk about as I'd hate to spoil anything but it's a good time for any visual novel fan.

Please ignore that it's been like 4 months since I last updated this. But Mina the Hollower gets the honour of being the first new game I've beaten since March, very different title from Yacht Club after all the Shovel Knight but it's clearly a high quality title, would recommend.
