iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

AI and fake trailers all over the place if you take one step into the wrong algorithm.

It takes some of the anxiety out of it. I still had a copy of Dread ordered in case I couldn't find the CE. For FF7 Revelation, I'm completing my PS5 collection, otherwise I'd have liked a PC special edition. But I will be playing it on PC.

Not the same in this case, but in other cases I want the game on PC (did order FF7Rp3 CE for PS5) or I struggled to order the special edition until the game's release and then had to wait for it. (In the case of Dread I ended up returning a copy when my special edition came in days after release)

I actually like when the extra stuff is separate. Gives you a chance to pick your platform.

When does Toyotathon start? Planning to start Love in fantasy then.

I suspect it's a translation of the Japanese version of the quote and not from the localization, but I've not looked into it.

Nick C @laschoni.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I wish they used an actual quote

Which would have prevented Florida from making the game and instead Louisville would have lost to Ohio State.

Not-Chiefs dropped ball on ground, big Chief near ball ran and fell on it.

Even worse, while the local college football team kicked off at 7.

I think it's even more interesting to take that point in contrast to FFVII Revelation being same date on all platforms.

More wins for Texas and Alabama so they don't cry when they go 9-3.

The most recent shakeup put one of the big Luminous guys in charge of their Engine division. Iirc

Aren't the rumors that the Square Enix tech team is working on Luminous FFXV/Forspoken as a tech base to return to their own engine? (Like Capcom)

It's just a Red Hot Chili Peppers number they put lyrics on

Oh and losing to Pitt after beating Notre Dame

He did the same thing at Purdue after beating Ohio State

Watching Tennessee walk off Alabama in 22 from the wedding party table on my phone as several of us gathered around was a highlight of the night. Immediately took the replay to the groom on the dance floor between songs.

How much of that is not setting up the rookie to fail? It seems intentional, but unsure.

In this very specific case? I could argue that payment processors for PS and Xbox would be overwhelmed like they were when Silksong arrived with no preorder window. But the preload window would be fine for that.

Xbox removed all their physical games from stores near me in the US. They only have download codes on display.

I didn't need to see a trailer because I saw Weapons and Barbarian, but I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer.

IIRC it was actually that they were making FF4 for the NES and FF5 for the SNES at the same time. But they ended up canceling the NES FF4 and renaming FF5 to FF4.

It has some really funny bits as well. It also doesn't feel weird next to the movie cast. It's good in its own way.

Everyone saw this coming.

Didn't work when they were all at Louisville with Bobby. Interestingly, Bobby's brother Paul (former Idaho coach) is back at Louisville in a senior role.
