A few photos from my new Lord Of The Rings diorama on Youtube 🦑 Sculpted in polymer clay, terrain is a mix of foam, Sculptamold, sand and ModPodge 😄 The water is tinted resin with Vallejo water FX on top for ripples. Come hang out I promise it's a good time! 😄 #lordoftherings #handmade #clay #art

random non art related update: after 1536 tries, this happened! After watching our daily breakfast @nytimes.com crossword with @chrisremo.bsky.social , my wife saw I had set out a little bowl of fruit and suggested a wordle word based on that. Let's just say we had to get a lottery ticket that day 😄

Quote post with your yellow art. 💛 I need to make more yellow things I think, as these two little childhood memory ruiners were the only ones I could find 😅

I've made a few Lord of the Rings projects on my YouTube channel since its inception, and they've always been some of my favorite videos. I think it might just be about time I made another LOTR video, don't you? 🤔 (spoilers I've already started) #lotr #lordoftherings #tolkien #resinart #fantasyart

Jumping on the "Nine Games That Made Me" train, mostly because its fun to think about these old bangers and the then not as old and bitter guy who played them at the time 😄 This list should've been like 4 times as big and I definitely forgot some essential ones 😅 #games #my9games #wheredidtimego

Finished up these little rascals today! Figured the people crazy enough to support me deserved a little extra bit of nonsense 😄 Sculpted in Chavant clay, molded and cast in SmoothOn silicone and resin, and painted in whatever paints I had around #clay #patreon #sculpting #handmade #keepkraken #resin

Sculpting, molding and casting Royalty Loyalty Medallions for my most noble Patrons. Not really done much relief work before but I think it came out pretty OK? Next up is cleaning up the resin casts before the prime/paint/varnish/wash/varnish dance begins 🫡 #art #handmade #sculpt #patreon #clay

A bouquet of some very sloppy stop motion animation bits I did for my last YouTube video. I promise, they're bad on purpose - not because animation is hard and I don't know how to do it goodly 👍

While my main YouTube wrapped/recap/whatever was all crafting channels (naturally), the king of my non work account is @chrisremo.bsky.social by a giant margin; me and Mrs. Kraken watch Chris do the NYT crossword basically every single day while we eat breakfast 😄 Secretly the best thing on YT!

Throwback to one of my fave video projects from almost a year ago. This eyebrowless Chihiro Spirited Away diorama almost broke me but I sorta love it! There's like a real ghost kinda! #ghibli #handmade #keepkraken #resin #sculpture #epoxy #polymerclay #clay #diorama #spiritedaway #miyazaki

As I am toiling away in the editing mines for the current video, the poll for the next project theme is now up on Patreon! Some real gems in this selection if I may say so myself 😄 patreon.com/KeepKraken?u... #patreon #clay #art #nintendo #pokemon #playstation #dontstarve #metalgearsolid #fanart

Congrats on 20k! 🥳 I was a visual effects artist for 16 years, but these past couple of years I've spent most of my time making hand crafted nerd related sculptures on Youtube :) Here are a couple of them! (looking at this random lineup I guess my color scheme is dark+saturated primary colors 😄)

Throwback Friday! As my videos take forever to make, I'll post some old bangers in the interim😄 Here is one I initially named "Mario Kart But Mario Is The Kart" where our plumber friend is made to pay for his many violent stomping crimes (video: youtu.be/imD2ABMMVlM?... ) #supermario #mariokart #art

🍕 HUMAN ARTISTS, use only one piece to convince people to follow you #artshare Might not be my best but it IS my most recent project on Youtube! I was a VFX artist in movie land for 15 years, but now all I do is make hand crafted nerd stuff on the internet. Paycheck and blood pressure both halved😄

Almost forgot I also did a cheeky little video shoot for tiny Gul'dan just in case I never get around to finishing him and / or accidentally knock him off the shelf while in a epoxy resin fueled panic 😅 #blizzard #orcs #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #monsters #sculpture #games #WoW

This old sketch sculpt of Gul'dan (World of Warcraft) I did a few years ago just came back home after a long stay at a buddys office being used as a photogrammetry model. Should I set aside some time this year to actually finish this thing?😄 #sculpture #blizzard #fanart #art #worldofwarcraft #clay
