iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I’ve wondered exactly the same thing a few times these last few months 😖🫣

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

It’s a weird site. I used to have to log in every single day. Then I upgraded my computer and now can go a week or more without having to login again. What’s with that?

Oh, I should have looked here first, not on Instashame. The larger images on my computer make it clear, I love, love, love #5 But as I said on IG, they are all delightful.

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Hmmm, I have not noticed/noted this 😖

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Thank you🙏. I’m very happy with how these turned out.

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

It's hard to imagine a sweeter result ;)

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

Almost everyone gets it wrong. "here's a picture of my friend and I" drives me crazy every time! I don't understand why people never learned the basics in school. Grrr. Basic grammar - take the "my friend and" out of the sentence and does it read correctly? Grrr 😜

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I have sounds of all the time so never noticed this. Hmmm, adding music helps eh? 🤪

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Too cool! I have a more primitive setup but I love this idea!

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Yes, I wonder about that now too. Someone else (over on IG) suggested the same thing. It's odd though because it only ever happens on Delta 3200 (I think) both 120 & 35mm. I am going to review all my scans with this film.

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Haha, right? And only store them in the app? 🤪🤓

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

It's a crazy lot of fun. So many things to try. It really helps in a big way when your subject is a very creative person too. THat's when I get the coolest images.

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Haha! Wonderful. I love it when it’s not obvious. It’s very awkward actually. Dark room, long exposure, hold speedlight in hand to trigger manually for the sharp faces and all the while keep a flashlight pointing at her for the streaky effect

She is/was one of my most favourite models. So sad she moved away. So grateful to have gotten to know her and work with her.

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Yay 🎉 so pleased you like them so much. 🙏🙏🙏

011

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

I hear you. It has happened to me, thankfully only a couple of times.

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Obviously I don’t know the entire story, ultimately though, if you’re paying it does not matter if it’s “up to snuff”, does it? She got paid, end of story, go home. But if was a trade then I see your issue, she’s not fully engaged, it’s not a fair trade, so again, end of …. (Yikes, what a pain)

These are stunning! Brilliant idea to use that tree. And the colour is so sweet.

120

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

That’s a cool take on this installation.

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

This is so beautiful. She is so very graceful and the lighting & colours are perfect. (& I must look into this alternative process LN5!)

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Oh my, I am shocked and surprised (not!) bunch of f'ing creeps!

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Haha! Yes! I was down there the other day and absolutely loved the ice formations.

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

I really liked working with Lana. She is such a delight to be around.

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Yay, a very nice start to your acct here 🥂

110

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 28/01/2026

Ditto - and like the OP I go through phases of apathy as well, I'm in that phase just now.

020

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

I hadn't heard of it but now knowing this, I'll ignore it if I do see it. Thanks. I agree - what's the point of it?

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 23/01/2026

Thank you! It's kind of both. I have this idea but I allow it to develop, morph in an organic kind of way looking for variations that are pleasing. 🙏

110

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Arrg, how annoying! And his feed is really awful.

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

I don't know the answer to this - if you block him are his reposts deleted? Might be worth the try.

100

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/01/2026

Ah tumblr, how I miss that wild site. They destroyed something beautiful when they banned nudity back in, when was that? 2018? I've tried a couple of times to restart my acct there but i think something died in me back then too 🤔

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 10/01/2026

You will here more as we pull it together 🙏

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

Yes, that's the only reason I continue with Instasham. But I also continue to hope here.

020

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

I hope you find more time for this site or fotoapp if for no other reason than to allow yourself to breath a little and enjoy some of the beauty that still exists amid all the horror of what is going on. Wishing you find some peace in this new year. 🙏

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

She is such a fantastic woman to work with. So sad she's moving away.

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 24/12/2025

These are really cool images you've made of Riley.Jade. Very nicely done. They led me to spend quite a good while reviewing your blog posts! Probably time I should have used in other pursuits but I am very glad I did. Thank you.

110

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

100%. I love my Nikon dslr so much that I bought a second in case it were to die and no more available and because everyone is so excited by these mirrorless cameras the dslr was cheap 👍

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

Ya. I have worked a couple of times with just such a model. Simply refuses to do my themes. I won’t work with her anymore.

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Ah! I have never bothered with this feature. Like you, I think my lighting would be a challenge and also there is thy fact that a lot of my work is just bodies, no faces 🤪

000

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Haha! Wonderful. And people here in Toronto are whining because it went down to -10C last night. 🍻

110

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

Brilliant! And what a great story too.

010

Larry Williamson @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

Wow! That looks so cool! (And very difficult).
