Of course, I loved this. The accompanying playlist is top tier. And I think *think* we ended on a cliffhanger?! I bow to you @larrysmomfics.bsky.social archiveofourown.org/works/85291141

Not quite a cliffhanger…maybe go back and read Harry’s love confession at the end of the last chapter before the epilogue.

Mourning a friendship is the worst. I’m so sorry.

It’s a great day to watch a brat pack movie! So, bc not everyone is a maladaptive nostalgia fiend like myself, I would gently encourage watching the following movies to have a full grasp on If You Leave. 📼 -Sixteen Candles -The Breakfast Club -Pretty In Pink -St Elmo’s Fire

And sometimes those nice things just happen to be in the form of a self-indulgent nostalgia fueled universe hopping dream fic with a lot of silliness, a sprinkle of terrible puns, a bit of awkward sex, a dash of 1980s cringiness, and some dry humping.

Y’all, I know not everyone is gonna love If You Leave, but it was so important to me to write this for myself and for every one of my fellow elder millennial and GenX friends. We make up such a large part of this fandom, and we deserve to have nice things for ourselves.

I’ve gotten a lot better at it, however, it still pisses me off when I have a specific vision, but I’m simply unable to execute it. 😤

Moodboard making is my arch nemesis ISTG

Tell me you have ADHD without telling me.

I was trying to make a moodboard for If you Leave yesterday, so I created a very rough first draft, abandoned it, and spent an hour updating the STLF moodboard instead. 😂

We’re not gonna theorize that they’ve read fics, because then I have to think about the possibility of them having read one of mine, and then I perish.

Nope. We’re not gonna do that.

All jokes aside, I’m super proud of how far his dancing has come! 🕺🏻

My papaw used to say, “That boy’s queer as a three dollar bill.” Which he meant as a slur, but I think we should reclaim it, because Harry Styles is, in fact, queer as a three dollar bill.

Joey Tribbiani: Could I BE Wearing Any More Clothes?

It’s giving Joey, in the episode of friends where he puts on all Chandler’s clothes, but only from the waist up.

Oh, Harry’s engaged?!? Yes actually, he is, in fact, very engaged with wearing tiny red shorts and acting extremely homosexual, thank you.

Hey. You’re really brave to share this, I know it’s scary to put these kind of words out into the world. I’ve been there, and I know it’s not an easy place to be. I’m so sorry you’re hurting. I hope you know that we need you here. 🩷

I hope that was an invitation to join, because I enthusiastically accept.
