I favor the two party system we have rather than what we see in europe. I would prefer to focus on ranked choice elections where more reasonable people win regardless of party.

I understand your quandary. Any support of Israel has become a litmus test. And the "Free Palestine" advocates don't know the history. The Arabs have never accepted Israels existence and refused any significant negotiations for a peace.
