Noswaith dda, pawb Or good evening everyone in Cymraeg or Welsh. We visited Bangor this morning and had a nice walk on the pier. Very refreshing. This is the tail end of Iggy mauling his banana, a cord and a mouse before grooming himself. Looking this sharp isn't easy.

Well straight after 2nd breakfast this morning guess where Ella went for her nap? Yes, that box again. I won't be recycling it until she's found a new favourite box.

Ella the ragdoll cat is back in her new favourite box for a snooze after 2nd breakfast. She's just settling down here.
She was slightly disturbed by the pawparazi.

Happy #Caturday to all! We've been out all morning, got back and my wife opened a box of art supplies, emptied the box and left it in a chair for me to crush and put in the card and paper bin. I went to do it a couple of minutes later and found it fully occupied by someone small and floofy.

youtu.be/EdhoX1Xu6ZI This is an absolute banger! I already had the cover from the Brother to Brother and the Joe Bataan instrumental version. The original is the best, loved by both the Northern Soul and Jazz Funk scenes. Blistering lyrics and a beat to die for.

Iggy rarely goes into the tunnel which is mainly used by Ella. However he was fully occupying it here, hanging out of all 3 entry points. Fair to say, it suits a smaller cat more.

This was taken last night, we still had the patio doors open and the screen up at 23.00. Ella was below staring out on a #Hedgewatch but I couldn't photo her because she was behind the stumps. Iggy looks magnificent, he's so handsome you'd never guess that he's ill.

Happy #Caturday to you all. It's our youngest son's 30th birthday today. We bought him new walking boots and some walking gear. The boot box proved extremely popular, Ella moved in instantly.

Well it is #TBT. Here is daddy's number one boy about 18 months ago. Iggy has been to the V-E-T this morning for a claw trim. All sulking disappeared after 5 fréeze dried chicken treats. He is a very handsome man.

What a helpful cat we have! Iggy decided that he would participate in bedmaking this morning. He got himself under the traditional Welsh runner we have on the bed and played at ambushing and swiping at anyone passing by, including Ella. The goblin eyes give him away.

We bought two new cardboard scratcher boards for downstairs as the old ones were the worse for wear. Ella nabbed the paper bag they came in, occupied it and looked so majestic. Nothing escapes her notice.

My new lampshade arrived, it looks terrific! Here it is in operation. Ella after sniffing at the box and then the lampshade, climbed right in as soon as the box was empty. She is so nosy, she followed me upstairs with the box. No box or bag permitted entry without passing the Ella sniff test.

Mixed news from the vet today on Iggy. His heartbeat was steady and the vet said not as high as last time. Bad news he has lost 0.6 kg from 7 to 6.4. He didn't need to lose weight. He's long enough to stand on the floor and have his front paws and head on the kitchen counter. We suspected as 1/2

And here we have the epitome of 'manspreading'. Iggy was actually sleeping in this position! Wish him well, he's off to the vet tomorrow, it's a 6 month check up on his heart and breathing. It's been 18 months since we found he had a heart tumour. We think he's lost weight lately and are worried.

Happy #Caturday everyone! I caught Ella airing her pantaloons and doing pull ups on the screen door. We're back in Wales after the heatwaves and we can't believe how parched it looks, every field is yellow grass. Still, madame was busy bug hunting. Elegant climbing, less so the descent. #Hedgewatch
