Idk why but I see Lark as a “Saving Private Ryan” kinda guy but also loving “Monty Python and The Holy Grail”

I was playing with modded armor and came across this and I think I just found Lark’s evil twin….KARL But for real if Lark was evil or a God why is this so fitting for him

#ooc so happy that people are starting to make nicer armor and casual clothes on Nexus. Thank you to everyone who agrees we need better clothing 🤣

Lark looks for someone who understands him & loves him for his true self. As much as he hides behind humor he takes things to heart & wears his heart on his sleeve. He never entertains relationships knowing his days are numbered because the calling but he hopes he’ll find someone one day.

Larkin Mahariel Theirin @larkinmahariel.bsky.social · 08/02/2025

I know what happens when you take up the mantle of sacrifice. I saw it with Taron, I saw it with my brothers and sisters in the Wardens. It’s not about dying—it’s about making sure your death means something. As a warden we can only hope our death bears some weight and not just waisted. #DATV #Rook

Lark’s room is always kept neat besides maybe a few stacks of books or armor & weapons needing cleaning. His room is actually sad & empty with a few little trinkets here & there & candles giving warmth. He doesn’t spend much time in it but it reflects some of the hollowness he tends to feel & hide.

Nothing quite hits you in the gut like when you think you’re getting feelings for someone only to see them with someone else. The life of a Grey Warden is meant to be lonely anyway

Shiral, Larkins trusty baby gryphon! He has a knack for getting into the fight, stealing shiny objects, and being a badass against darkspawn. While Assan is a quieter gryphon, Shiral is bold, daring, reckless, and protective of Lark. When the two fight together it is something to behold

Lark constantly lies about his parentage being the son of Alistair and Lyana (HOF). He always says he’s the son of grey wardens but never who they are. He doesn’t want to be treated differently because of it and often worries he won’t live up to their heroics and reputation.

Larkin Mahariel Theirin @larkinmahariel.bsky.social · 26/01/2025

This was a challenge! Mine was more like 5 but Alistair takes up the space of 2! •Alistair (Young & older Gw) • Lyana (HOF) • Cullen Rutherford (DAI) • Cassian (ACOTAR) • Liam Mairi (FW)

#veilguardspoilers 👀 Lark is not a crier and often internalizes that pain and locks it away. When he does cry it’s serious since he never does. The last time he cried was over Varric and the time before that over the letter Varric had given him that his mom left (previously posted if curious)

(Post DATV) Staring at the fire in the hearth, Lark was lost in his thoughts. So much had happened since that day in the village, since all those lives saved. Despite the friends he had made loneliness washed over him tonight as well as longing. Taking out the crumpled letter in his pocket he read +

Larkin Mahariel Theirin @larkinmahariel.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Lark is covered in scars mostly from battle. His most recent ones on his face stem from his fight against darkspawn while saving a Village from an incursion prior to #DATV. Being a Senior Warden he has endured many fights but every scar tells a story, all of which he wears with pride.

After the Joining he fully accepts that there is no happy ending for him. Besides his parents he can’t think of one Warden that actually gets that since the Callinf But he believes in it for others

“Join us, brothers and sisters. Join us in the shadows where we stand vigilant. Join us as we carry the duty that can not be forsworn. And should you perish, know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten. And that one day we shall join you.” To think this is the same chalice my parents drank (+)

Growing up on stories of griffons I never imagined they would be real again, instead something like a fairytale. Easy to say Assan has won me over quite easily and part of me hopes when this is all over maybe I can be lucky enough to get a griffon. But for now Davrin deals with my frequent visits
