Given how much I switch between UK and US conventions, how have I only learnt today that judgement is also correctly spelt without the vowel between 'g' and 'm'? (although more American... so maybe not actually "correct" per se)

A nuanced and thoughtful consideration of the wonders and horrors of AI from the always gracefully reflective @mshelenrussell.bsky.social I particularly appreciated the footnote warning about ChatGPT
FYI if you're using AI, there's a strong argument for avoiding ChatGPT. Dutch historian and author Rutger Bregman has advocated for a boycott of ChatGPT, often referred to as "QuitGPT." This is based on concerns that the company's financial and logistical operations support Trump and OpenAI is "bankrolling authoritanarism" and urged consumers to cancel their subscriptions and delete the app (since free users also 'feed the machine' and train it). More than 2.5m have joined the movement so far - and my smart friend Louise swears by Perplexity as a more ethical and effective alternative, just FYI.

A comic about setting boundaries.
I am setting a boundary. Oh god. I should not have done that. They’re gonna be so mad. No. I have a right to protect myself. Then why do i feel so guilty?
