It’s been hell. My mom is back home after 21 days in hospital, 14 blood transfusions, and an acute hemolytic transfusion reaction. Now we wait for gall bladder removal surgery. My burn out is real, so many hospital days and nights. Very hard to work and keep my families business going.

The "we're all immigrants" rhetoric is directly harmful because it erases the harms being done to Indigenous people.
