So I've thought about this for a while and I don't know if anyone else has ever made this link but like... given the allegations against John Nathan-Turner, it is perhaps... suspect that he was so vehemently opposed to changing the gender of the actors playing the twins in The Twin Dilemma, right?

Really think Hartley's Trust has become my favourite movie of all time. You get pitched the premise and it just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but Hartley has a secret weapon and her name is Adrienne God damn Shelly. That movie rests entirely on her performance as Maria and she nails it.

I do have a soft spot for Mark Gatiss' Invaders from Mars and all its silliness, but I think it would have been a lot stronger if Big Finish had done away with the standard opening/closing theme and just let the over-the-top old-timey SFX demarcate the episode boundaries.
