Had a recent conversation with David Hill about AC adapters. How do you wind yours, and where would you place it on this chart? Post a photo, and perhaps we can add it to the video!

Thinking about accessories on this #ThinkPadThursday. What are your favourite #ThinkPad accessories over the years? Do you know all the ones in this photo?

Bit of a game for #ThinkPadThursday. I have a #3DPrinter and made a few things. Can you guess what these four objects are for? #ThinkPad

I have slowed down a little this year in producing content. Rest assured, I'm still working on many things. Here is another sneak preview of a machine I hope to start filming very soon. #ThinkPad

This month, my Lenovo #ThinkPad X1 Nano G1 turns five years old. It's the longest-serving laptop I've had. While it is slowly showing its age as my demands increase, this machine has seen me through some amazing times. I wonder what will be able to live up to it? #ThinkPadThursday

Working on a few projects this weekend, what about you?

Doing some testing with Lenovo #ThinkPad's this week to see how long-lasting they are. Spoilers, they outlast Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 10. This is why I love these machines. Video to follow. #ThinkPadThursday #PC #Linux

Question: What is the oldest #ThinkPad you've run a modern distro of #Linux on? What were the specs, and how did it go?

For #ThinkPadThursday, I am prepping my film space with new lights and new audio before filming the assembly of this wonderful model kit. These were released exclusively in Japan for the 10th anniversary of #ThinkPad.

To make a long story short, I lent this out during a conference because the room across from me needed a wireless presenter. It came back and I didn't notice until I left the conference that the receiver was absent. Now it is entirely ewaste. I need a better, serviceable solution

Wow, 8 years is a long time. Thanks for all coming along for the ride. I'm curious, what are your favourite moments?

Hey all, I have acquired a pretty rare machine, but unfortunately, its functionality is very limited without this cable. If you come across this rare cable used to connect to a serial port and mobile Windows CE portable, let me know.

Modern battery technology is really impressive. This is from my Lenovo #ThinkPad X1 Nano G1. #ThinkPadThursday

Time to reveal the #ThinkPad X1 Extreme G1, what appears to be when you cross a P series and an X1 Carbon. This thing was impressive.

I did some light work to bring this #ThinkPad T450 back to life the other day. It could use some fresh batteries and a new SSD for its next owner.

Here is a bonus #ThinkPadThursday post and teaser. What do you get when you cross a Lenovo #ThinkPad P series with an X1 Carbon? 🤔

This isn't a pretty sight and I don't know the details but modern #ThinkPad machines can still handle a lot and still work. Wow. #ThinkPadThursday

Here are some stats from #MyYearOnYouTube2024. The plan is to get a few more uploads in by the end of the year now that I have some time off. Thanks everyone for watching and supporting the channel this year. You're the best!

I've been working all day on channel stuff. One of the things #YouTube has been pushing for years are mid-roll ads and currently, I still have control of them. I think they are annoying and don't like them but they are pushing how much ad revenue or exposure you might be losing.

A reminder that #ThinkPad is a tough PC. Despite this crack in this P14S G3, the display is unharmed. Video coming soon. #ThinkPadThursday

For #ThinkPadThursday we have a P50 being set up to try and capture the HDMI output on the Skylight. Unfortunately it didn't work but the #ThinkPad workstation is what I reach for to do serious work.

For #ThinkPadThursday I'm enjoying this new book on Richard Sapper who had a huge influence on #ThinkPad. Kaz did an excellent job along with all the contributors. The detail on the back was a lovely surprise.

So this is pretty exciting. I will be unboxing a computer that was never released.
