I love how I thought I was gonna be consistent about anything. The doomed hope in this chart is palpable.

Bestie rescued a butterfly on our walk this morning. She was too wet to lift both wings and the wings were a little ragged on the back edges, and we thought she might be too injured to recover. But she dried out just fine and it seems like she's gonna make it after all!

Both at the beginning and at the end, we see Wumuti moving the red pawn to the end of the board, ready to become whatever it wants. We also see Hyun holding a pawn, but we don't see anyone else moving a piece. This makes a certain kind of sense:

Okay so the first lace border is done! If you look closely you can sort of tell I started at the bottom left corner and took some time for my hands to remember how to do picot needle lace at least somewhat evenly 😂
