Transferring all my works to Ellipsus!! I was skeptical of trying yet another writing site at first but my main problem right now is straining my eyes and the theme settings are so helpful. Also they're anti AI and the only complaints I'd have are things they're set to work on~ excited to try it!

Don't worry, I'm still around and safe from fires so far! Summer is always rough especially with this disability but it's the smoke and anxiety that's keeping me stuck bed 🥲 I better get the biggest case of writing zoomies in the fall

Hey I just wanna post here and I'll be posting on my fandom blogs too, I very much support and encourage alt text but am unable to safely consistently do it myself. Posting even a screenshot takes a lot out of me, making alt text hits the gas for brain fog. However feel free to add on my posts!!

New WIP about a single dad and the son he picked up off the street, both had been abandoned for being omega children. Fluffy and found family, not sure who the love interest for Siren is yet but he'll be unconventional and a little broken too 😊 Really wanted to write something wholesome ❤️

Me in the old job-hunt days: "ugh why do I need like 3+ references on my resume? Do people even care?" Me now while seeking services over Internet: "no offense but please give me like 5 different people you've worked with that I can talk to to make sure this is legit"

The inspiration to write hit me today, so have a snippet from my m/m #omegaverse #WIP tentatively called Two Bros and a Baby that I just busted out like 2.5 chapters for #lapiswrites

As soon as Leo was introduced, Kae’s mother shoved her own son aside and started to dote on him, endlessly asking about his comfort and offering drinks, food, and favors.
“Mom, you’re crowding him,” Kae lectured her with a huff. Though he didn’t have romantic feelings towards his friend, what alpha wouldn’t be uncomfortable with someone else hovering over the omega carrying his child, even if it was his own parent?
“Dear, Dear, look at how annoying your son is,” she called out to her husband before turning back and rolling her eyes at him. “Really, Kae. What’s wrong with me fretting over my grandchild’s little father, huh? Who else is going to? You??”
Any tension that might have still lingered at that point melted away as Leo burst into a fit of laughter. These people weren’t so scary, after all.

Absolutely WILD to be going through old stories I've written (and hardly ever completed) and seeing like how much my writing has evolved. Like, I'm sure I've made this kind of post before, but like I spent 20 mins on that DND story just trying to get the opening paragraph to the impact level I want

010

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Rereading a DND character story I'll be reworking and came across my favourite part I forgot about: My druid has a suitor that is painfully persistent, so she turns into a panther and charges at him to send the message to fuck off. Would LOVE to be able to do that irl

It's come to my attention that I *can* in fact publish on Kindle as well, and as skeptical as I am (plus I do not like Amazon!!) I know everyone loves their Kindle so... Setting up for this one serious book lol

030

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

I wanted to post Soul Piece first as my 'serious' work but a lot of my WIPs are more niche little passions. One of them, the stereotypical omega one I talked about before, technically found a good end point while writing and is shorter than expected. Will likely be the next one out!

030

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

Hehehe realized there's nothing stopping me from starting other ebooks on my publishing site. After Soul Piece comes out, it's free game! Short stories (esp omegaverse) will mostly be directed towards Smashwords and possibly Kobo

The thing about being an indie writer is even when your book is written, edited a thousand times, beta read, edited more, formatted, and submitted to be published... That's not the end of the work, and there are little things to do nearly every day

050

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Anyways shout-out to the lovely author who I checked with if a testimonial was true (it wasn't). It was suggested I also change my bio from 'new to insta and self promoting'. I see now how it looks easy to prey on me even though I was just trying to convey my posts might be shit lol

010

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

This is specifically about Instagram. The culture there makes it not quite as audacious to slip into DMs with offers as, say, tumblr (immediate red flag there) but like. Badges can be bought. Followers can be bought. Anyone can make a website. Always dig.

Lapis Love @lapislove.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

How paranoid about being scammed am I? I will message strangers featured in a 'service's' testimonials to ask if they really worked with them. How correct am I to do it? Always 100%. Follow your gut and always ask questions, everyone!
