What people are missing in the discussion of the price of the Switch 2 + games when they say it's the same amount of money in terms of inflation is that, yes, you're right. But the vast majority of people don't have jobs that have *also* kept up with inflation. This is the straw breaking the back.

Cochenille Garment Designer! It is pricy at 200usd for the base software but they have a trial period if you want to play with it - and I've really enjoyed using it for weirder shapes in cosplay.

fwif I think what you have right now looks very flattering. Horsehair would absolutely give it more anime physics especially since it looks like you're going to be lining it - but you can always add it and rip it out if it doesn't give the effect you want. Nothing is permanent until it's cut!

Just for the sake of visual comparison re: horsehair widths and application - My 2B skirt was two layers of five inch wide horsehair with bridal satin lining and poly velvet for the fashion layer with heavy embroidery. You can see that it bows in where my seam lines are but it holds its shape.

It's folding in on the seams because that's just the nature of fabric when you have seamlines like this. Horsehair might help but it will give it a float-y effect (I used it for my 2B skirt). There are different widths of horsehair, the wider it is the stiffer the garment will become.
