As an American I too want to be less reliant on American tech like microslop. It is incredible how wide reaching their garbage. If they did not have excel and the camp of people that defend it I think Libre office does fine enough to replace most things in office products.

Elons stink really ruins the brand, and his lack of actual leadership is for sure killing that brand. I think they’re going to end up selling parts to other auto manufacturers as a supply chain sort of thing, and end up stop selling cars eventually.

It’s a shame because I would say they are for the most part good cars. There’s for sure defects and things that annoy the shit out of me about them, and the FSD feels like a moving target decades away. Though, their supervised fsd is still quite good compared to others.

Wondering how long we think the shortage/price gouging on storage and ram will last compared to the chip shortage during covid. I originally just used some old 1tb drives I had laying around to test it a NAS and am ready to put in new, but I can't justify doing this when I need 7 drives.🙃 #homelab

I deleted mine just because I found I was getting an influx of garbage “sales” calls minutes after I’d get a “someone from some made up sounding company viewed your profile”. Once I took it down it pretty much stopped within a week.
