Just finished listening to @midstpodcast.bsky.social today and goddamn. The finale absolutely slaps, desnt overstay its welcome, calls back to the first episode, hits you with the feeling right at the same time as the action. Top tier stuff. Highly reccomend.

Finished reading The Valley today. Late to the party, I know, but damn. This is really something that ought to be read by anyone who thinks they understand what is going on in the justice system. Its a very frank look into the cracks. And to think things have only been getting worse since

While submitting on the definitions of a man and woman bill, I read through the transcripts from parliament. One of the most frustrating things to see was a member of government admit that trans people would feel targeted by the bill and were in a vulnerable position, but support the bill anyway

Wellycon is such a fantastic time. Not only hanging out with friends, but meeting new people, playing new games, and getting feedback on my latest dumb idea. (It only broke for one game, fould be worse)

You just have to ask yourself, who the hell does it benefit? It sure isn't Aotearoa as a whole. Ministries are already starting to strain, and AI will kot make up for the lack of people doing the work. So WHO IS IT FOR?

Absolute rubbish, once again. Theres such an inbuilt assumption with this government that everybody can afford things, and if you cant, its because you're not working hard enough. Not everyone can rely on their parents money to get them through university you twits www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...

Fringe show #5: Finding love, after all I reviewed Ravi's show last year (For my family, and yours) and loved it. His genuine stories and poetry landed very well. Unfortunately although working with a similar format but a new theme, this one didn't land for me. Music still great, check him out

The NZCVS is a survey and should never have been used as a hard "target" like this. Its an ESTIMATE, so to say that there were "49,000 fewer victims of violent crime" so definitively is problematic, and to lay the "cause" of this decrease at the hands of government policy even more so

Fringe show #4: As You Like it. Good old Shakespeare. I was surprised at how gpod a venue Aro Park made for this show, although the wind could've backed off a bit so we could hear the actors clearer. A good cast for this show, with every cast member giving their all.
