Enjoyed your interview with the ABC councillor this morning. Thank you for drawing attention to these critical road safety issues. That said I’m disappointed the councillor wasn’t pressed on the VPD’s lack of speed enforcement means any speed reductions are meaningless.

First, CBC must retain the rights to PWHL broadcasts of Canadian teams on Saturday night. Lastly, buy back the rights or pay the fees for original theme song of Hockey Night In Canada. Do this and you’ll bring the country together and revitalize the Hockey Night in Canada brand. #pwhl #goldeneyes

How the Whitecaps could stay in Vancouver
The Whitecaps need a new owner and a new stadium deal. But there is a path forward for the team, league and government.

There is an alternate explanation. Win for Quinn makes sense if the intention was also to maintain maximum negotiating value. Once jim lets out he’s leaving no matter what, that additional leverage goes out the window.

You’re optimistic in your assumption that all parents can just “parent your kids”. We need guardrails for a reason. These kind of tools are not meant for the families with skilled/involved parent(s).

I’m not a fan of politicians trying to make people angry for votes by claiming there actually IS a “war on cars” (there isn’t — if anything there’s been a war on every OTHER way of getting around since the 1960s). A politician just made the claim on LinkedIn. Here’s the reply I posted. #UrbanTruth
Text explaining how there isn’t a war on cars, with all the benefits of reallocating street space to move a lot more people with a lot less space and other consequences, including life and death, pollution/emissions, public and personal costs, etc. Providing more choices works better for everyone, including drivers. And more transportation choices support the economic competitiveness of cities, as smart cities know.
