Day out on the bike today. Saw lots of swallows gathering in flocks getting ready to migrate back to Africa. Also saw a photographer and felt quite sad that I feel zero inclination to create any more. Also what the hell is a 5m high straw teddy bear doing in the middle of nowhere?! #bike #cycling

Once heard a report of a trans person in the US who was in a car crash and paramedics refused to treat them because they were trans, I remember thinking that couldn't happen here. outpatients.org.uk/2025/06/26/e...

Image of an article saying:
“Let us take the example of Joelle, a trans woman who died of an eminently treatable cancer after waiting for eight days on a general ward, because clinicians could not agree whether she should be placed on a men’s ward or a women’s ward. The delay in treatment cost her her life.”

Harvested some new potatoes for dinner, strawberries, and scapes (onion flowers). Growing three varieties of potatoes: charlotte, purple, and maris piper. Apart from the purple variant, the other two were grown from supermarket potatoes that had started sprouting. #garden #vegetables #greenspaces

Mr Shadow is a properly wild, old stray tom cat from the dark void (or one of the nearby farms) who visits us regularly. He's now had to move in to get warm while feeling under the weather with his little snotty nose and wheezing. Also happy Imbolc to you and your familiars!! 💜😺 #imbolc #straycat

Well unlucky lads, I'm still here existing and haunting your every thought 💜If you're trans then I think you're fucking amazing and awesome💜 #transpride
