Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 12/07/2026Finished my Mary W Martin Confluence Cowl today, to be worn with my MWM Flowing River hat. Both are reversible, but the cowl has different patterns on each side, both sides knitted at the same time. And... tomorrow I'm taking a beginning crochet class because why not? #knitting #knitsky 🧶 0140 14
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 09/05/2026More baby things finished. Now onto something for me! #knitsky #knitting 🧶 2280 28
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Latest FO, which sat forever while I was cranking out baby blankets. I had kind of forgotten about it, but I'm glad I remembered! A big rectangle folded over and a turtleneck added to the partially seamed side. 🧶 #knitting #poncho www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... 0220 22
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 05/01/2026I dunno, without ears it looks a teeny tiny little bit like a boa constrictor. 110 1
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 29/12/2025It's really hard to judge perspective from a photo, but that cast on looks rather large for a hat. If you tested gauge with a swatch, then consider me corrected. It's just that I once thought my cast on looked ridiculously small, and then noticed over & over that it magically grows as you knit. 110 1
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 24/12/2025Nice! Is that a Mary W Martin pattern? This is what I'm working on: 130 3
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 10/12/2025I gave away my 2nd baby blanket, Aimee Alexander's "Whispering Wolf", and this was the FIFTH blanket given to her recently! Fortunately, there's no such thing as too many baby blankies. Now I can start on my Flowing River hat and learn what fission knitting is. #KnitSky #Knitting 🧶 0140 14
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 24/10/2025I spent the last 2 weeks in Australia road-tripping up the coast of Western Australia, which seems to be fairly unknown to outsiders, but wow. SO much beauty, and zero partisan bickering or suspicion. Here's a naturally pink lake that was stunning: 021 2
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 28/06/2025I suppose it depends on what you want to make, but I was struck by something I saw in a Stephen West thing I got the other day where he showed the fuzzy yarn + sleek yarn brioche shawl he was knitting, and it just looked so cool. 110 1
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 30/05/2025I may be face blind, but there seems to be a fairly strong resemblance between Stephen Miller and Nosferatu. In both face and character. 130 3
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 12/05/2025How funny. That looks exactly like the way my pedicure socks started out, with a 6 stitch I-cord forming the part that goes between the first toes. One end forms the top of the sock, the other end forms the sole, eventually joined in the round. I had no idea I could have turned it into a snail! 000 0
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 05/03/2025Sea of Dreams knitted baby blanket pre-blocking. 🧶 Draped over the cat shredded chair. Took me long enough to finish the dang thing. 2120 12
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Ooh, that reminded me that I have that book, and I had forgotten that I also have this companion: 020 2

Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Herb butter with a lemon rind and juice and Worcestershire sauce bit of tang. So that's what I'm doing. And will be for for nearly the rest of the week. 000 0
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 26/11/2024I've never had pecan pralines before, so I made them for the Big Day, and they are fabulous. 000 0
Leslie @lancetchick.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Knitting Pima cotton baby blanket, which looks oddly pinkish here, but isn’t. Baby will be born in Australia, when it’s really hot, hence cotton, not wool. 080 8
