If I were to ever run for Governor of Arkansas I would advocate for banning the practice of buying and selling consumer data. If it became impossible I'd advocate that if personally identifiable data was sold said company would be required to pay the individual whose data it sold.

Modern politicians need to know how to use social media because often they possess information politicians that can and must be disclosed but often traditional media will gatekeep the information due to the corporate ownership of the media thus the need for the politician to understood social media.
