Access is not adoption. Booking.com gave 3,000+ devs every model, provider and tool — adoption stalled. A platform to discover, share and scale patterns took daily use to 70%. Those devs now ship 30% more code. Instead of digging legacy code. Platforms create adoption. Buffets don't. #platformcon

Everyone's adding observability to their agents. Almost no one is making it readable to them.Scattered signals, inconsistent naming, a dozen haystacks — humans struggle with that. Agents can't reason over it at all.The AI conversation forgot the observability part. #platformcon

Context is the new code. @jedi.be (yes, the DevOps guy) is applying the entire SDLC to context: version control, linting, evals as CI, LLM-as-judge unit tests, dependency scans, skill registries. We're about to do for prompts what we did for software. #platformcon

"Patching is doomed." @lizrice.bsky.social’s case: the speed of new vulns has outrun the patch cycle. The winning move isn't patching faster — it's designing for instant fixability. Shift left was step one. Shift down is the one nobody's ready for. #platformcon

The real platform test isn't adoption. It's surprise. Gregor Hohpe: "If your users haven't built something that surprises you, you didn't build a platform." You can't anticipate every use case. Stop trying — enable instead. #platformcon

Everyone's chasing the 1.6%. A breakdown of Claude Code's execution: only 1.6% is "LLM magic." The other 98.4% is deterministic platform behavior - routing, context loading, capability management. Agents don't run on models. They run on platforms. #platformcon

AI’s next phase at work is not about better prompts. It’s about better operating models. I use Air as a PM to orchestrate agent workflows across research, synthesis, and execution support. The win is not just productivity it’s visibility, parallelism, and the ability to stay hands-on Try it: air.dev

Most #OpenSource projects build for themselves, not their users. 🤔 Join my #OSSummit Europe session (25-27 Aug, Amsterdam) to learn how we at The Good Docs project ran user research with volunteers and limited resources.Template toolkit included! 🎯 sched.co/25Vxb

Just wrapped up my talk at #APIdays Paris! 🚀 Built a wild GenAI tool that turns messy inputs into killer API docs using @Mistral + @HuggingFace. Turning raw notes & specs into structured documentation? Yes, please. #AIDocumentation #APIDocs #GenerativeAI

Totally relate to this point by Jack Baldry, reading good docs is easy, writing docs that easy to read is damn hard #fosdem

Erin McKean has made a perfect point in her talk - there are people who just want to have flowers in their home and others who will want to make their own vase. So some want to just publish their docs - 🌸 people, and some will dig deep to docops, customize, make their own pipeline -🏺people. #fosdem
