What I apperciate the most is automatic backend wiring of new models behind common complaint Model Endpoint, which means you can deploy different model types (CPU vs GPU), model family, etc. and test based on your use cases, definitely making use of my private Model Registry! 😅

For PoC/Lab explorations, ESX DirectPath I/O is super easy to use, especially w/GPU Operator automatically deployed as part of the setup and you can also use NVAIE if you have licensing or even CPU models 🙌

Local User IdP is now built-in with PAIS 3.0 which simplifies PoC/Testing purposes, there's even nice easy to use UI! What's really neat is you can enable BOTH Local User + OIDC IdP w/PKCE at same time as well, so you can experience both flows which has been handy!

With PAIS 3.0, you can now deploy AI models natively within the vSphere UI (via Local Consumption Interface) as well as self-service via VCF Automation (VCFA), definitely nice way to explore various vSphere Supervisor Services including VKS! 👏

VCF Private AI Services (PAIS) ships with 3 x Model Engines: vLLM, LlamaCPP & Infinity Just learned the default version of LlamaCPP is only for CPU-based models, doesn't include GPU accelerator. With that said, users can easily override engine w/server-cuda 👍 #VCF911
