Tomorrow I'll do some wiring, fix the station platform lights, plug in the light for the warehouse/bunkhouse (left side, pic 3) and the weigh office, install another lamp in the yard. She looks so pretty lit by her own lights, don't you think?

I did a lot today! Built & installed a weighbridge and office *with* lights and some interior decoration, and got ground cover glued down for most of the yard!

An unintended consequence (at least.. initially unintended) was taking the pictures like this gives me a collection of every piece of rolling stock I own at *roughly* the same angle, and in the same location.

It's not the quietest thing, I haven't *tried* lubricating the gears but I'm sure it'd help a lot. I'd measure whatever the longest engine you're intending on running and base the table on that. I picked the Atlas 9-inch because it's the smallest that fits my Bachmann ROD 2-8-0.

Turntables take up a lot of space. My 2 cents is to add a spur to the outside line, and do the turntable as a module or extension afterward (whichever's more your speed :3). Either way it looks good and I'm excited to see you progress on it! (Atlas 9-inch table on my 2x6ft layout)

Going on an extended trip soon so I'll be quiet on updates for a bit. Today I did some more scenery but mostly got the groundwork layed for lighting proper. I'll pose up a nice scene tonight after the sun sets probably.

This weekend's projects, the only layout weekend I'm having this month, are a Trans 5-plank wagon, Installing and rewiring my new turntable, and a bit of decor in the yard for the coal merchant's stalls and the garage.

Added a couple detail pieces, a fuel tank made from a busted truck, painted the board around the coal stage and got that glued down, and a dirt pile's bones. I *did* have to pull up the inlayed track because I fucked up the clay.

I also did some organizational work on the layout, getting all my supplies sorted into a bin and getting the layout situated in a new spot in my room.
