Probably un-unique musing from my mind: mind is strengthened by literacy. If you allow literacy to be stolen from society, you allow society to be enslaved by a shroud of ignorance and deception.

My mom keeps trying to tell me that the guys are paid actors by the democrats and I'm just like, if you're paid to be a nazi and it's not for a film, you're a nazi. I really don't care what wing the feather claims to be from the entire bird is infested with corruption.

There’s a reason they’re targeting libraries. They don’t want you educated. They don’t want you to have a nuanced view of history. Or to read novels that will give you empathy. Or to know about inspiring women, Black or LGBTQ people. They want you intellectually small and easy to manipulate.

Pride Calander Day 10- Polysexual Home field advantage looks like a cute YA sports romance. It's a bit out of my comfort zone, but it looks cute. This book features the relationship of closeted Polysexual chear caption Amber and lesbian football quarterback Jack. #PrideMonth #Booksky #Polysexual

Pride Calender Day 9- Abrosexual Due to a lack of published media representation, I'll be spreading awareness for Abrosexuality. If you know any books with Abrosexual representation, please share. lgbtqia.fandom.com/wiki/Abrosex... #Pridemonth #BookSky #Abrosexual

Pride Calander Day 6- Aromantic A Psalm for the Wild Built is an amazing cathartic book featuring a queer platonic relationship at its center. Becky Chambers' entire book catalog is queer normative cozy Sifi. I could probably do this entire series with just her books. #Pridemonth #booksky #arobook

I wanted something that wasn't coming of age. As an intersex person, this book sits in a very small club I cherish. I don't speak just for myself in the won't for more intersex rep outside YA & discovery plots. This is something we exist with for life, not just at diagnosis and puberty.

Pride Calander Day 5-intersex The Deep by River Solomon is a powerful yet short story. This book is known for being Sapphic, but a lot of people overlook that Yetu the mermaid we spend our entire time with is intersex along with her entire species. #Pridemonth #intersexrep #booksky #PrideCalander

Pride Calander- Day 4- Trans I've been looking forward to reading What's The T? By Juno Dawson for quite a while if it's anything like her other book This Book Is Gay it will be a great resource for information on being trans and the culture that has formed. #Pridemonth #booksky #transbooks

Pride Calander Day 3- bisexual I'll have to recommend A day of fallen night by Samantha Shannon this book has many forms of LGBT rep but Wulfert Glenn, is the one I opened the book for and that says something I much more prefer WMC POV as a in 95% of cases #booksky #bibook #pridebooks #PrideMonth

Pride Calander Recommendation Day 2- Gay (MLM) When The Tide Met The Moon MLM is definitely not a preferred genre of queer books for me but I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I have always loved the radical familial love in performer groups trope. #Booksky #acillianbook #MLMbook #pridebook #pridemonth

So I'm about a 3rd of the way through Winds of Radiance now. And I'm surprised at the commentary he has introduced about gender rolls it's quite interesting to see how his books reinforce but also challenge aspects of our real world.

My posts might stop for a month or 2. I need to deal with some personal hardships that kinda came all at once. Not going to have much time to read let alone post about it for a bit.

I am only trying to understand what he is communicating through the lens of what I know of his life, his work, and the community that I've learned of over the years, of watching many former Mormons break down the faith with a critical eye. 8/8 #booksky #bookanalysis #bookcommunity #cosmere

But I wanted to get the thoughts I've had brewing on this out somewhere where others can interact. this is my first step into Brandon sandersons work so there is probably more to discuss. I currently have a narrow view of this. Also I don't mean to phycoanalize Sanderson. 7/8

He Wants the best for "heretics", and even then, when you move to dolinar and his brother, you can see the concerns of religious phycosis and embracing the other extreme of faith I may add to this as I read more I'm not through the entirely of the way of kings so no spoiler on the ending 6/8

But not outlawed directly in the text I do believe that he believes the core of his faith based on the way shallan and jasnah are framed threw out the story though it does show he does not demonize or think less of questioning or outright denounceing minds. the way he writes seems to show that 5/8

Internal conflicts along with the comments that even if something isn't outlawed dosent mean it can't be frowned upon mirroring in his works the sense of control the curch places on its members and the sense of social backlash that can be had for breaking unspoken social rule implied by the group4/8

The discourse that builds from that can be seen when the ardents talk about religion with our MCs, and I wonder if by having one of the ardent want to flee his post and court shallan, he is inserting his own conflicts on the topic as that want to move the mormanism morally has to have come with 3/8

Relationship To the morman Faith, I've watched many videos of former Mormons and their experiences with the church, and I noticed many of the lines in the way of kings mirror the discourse in that community I know he has been quoted as hoping to move the Mormon church in a more positive direction2/8
