The first time I saw Gene Hackman was him playing Lex Luthor in Superman. I must have been 8 or 9 years old and even though I was mesmerized by Superman and seeing a man flying Hackman‘s Luthor made quite an impression on me. He was clearly a bad guy and at the same time incredibly charming. RIP.

Messed around and flew from Munich to Las Palmas, Mallorca. Complete flight, crossed the Alps, flew over Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez, took 9 hrs and some change. Landed just before dark. Should have picked a faster aircraft. #msfs2024
