All the focus on the play calling this week was more of the Payton smokescreen regarding his hand picked QB. Nix is not good, the defense has been carrying this team for 2 years.

70% is being generous to Nix. The play caller is different from last year, they added Waddle (so many Nix fans claiming the receiving corps wasn't good enough last year) and a top rated offensive line. Still need an RB but Nix is the constant. He hasn't been good enough.

Not sure I agree with this interpretation. Nix doesn't have the ball, isn't trying to recover the ball and gets hit in his back. What is a "clear out" that's legal? On a qb?

She was great in that game. The year prior was my first time seeing her in person when they lost to Creighton in the 2nd round after Creighton beat Colorado in the first round on Iowa's home court.

As a CU grad I was at both of those games. The one in Seattle was a very good game. The one in Albany not so much.

Why is Tennis Channel T2 showing two matches on the screen? The women's match is early in the second while Shapovalov is serving for the match. There is literally no reason for this to be split screen. It just makes it more difficult to watch.

I get that. I am a lifelong fan of the Nuggets, who pays a lot of money to go to games (family season tickets since the McNichols Arena days) and cares about the team more than NBA storylines. Different perspectives and that is okay.

Last season was derailed by injuries and a lack of toughness in the playoffs. Braun, Jokic and Watson had significant injuries for the first time in their careers. I don't know what you do about the lack of toughness, but I think you have the right combo of players from a skills perspective.

Also, I don't want to root for someone I have rooted against for most of his career who just parachutes on to the team. If it happens the whole season will just be about LeBron and I am not interested in the Nuggets becoming the side show in the LeBron orbit.

I know lots of people want to believe he hasn't declined but he has. Getting another year older isn't going to make him better. He struggles on defense now which isn't exactly the strength of this team. LeBron on this team is good for media content .. it doesn't make them better.

His lack of touches (15 ft and in) is why they lost to Minnesota in game 1 of that series imo. Maybe it is a fatigue or energy thing but to me he doesn't get the ball enough.
