We are very happy to host Dr Matt Hunt Gardner in Helsinki this week to hear about his fascinating work on pulmonic ingressive YUP. Fortunately he made it here, even after after I typed his name wrong on his airline booking. Hope you’ll be able to leave, @matthuntgardner.bsky.social 😘
Four linguists have dinner together in a swanky restaurant. They are smiling and clearly pleased with being linguists and having dinner together. There are three men with beards and a woman with no beard. The woman looks especially relieved because she just learned that she typed in the guest linguist’s name wrong on his airline reservation, but he still made it to Helsinki. Whew! Photo taken in Helsinki, Finland.
