Like this is not normal yall. This isnt what learning to draw should be about. Its not a fucking gym or the military. These “rules” are killing the joy of art for these ppl.

However, I find myself struggling more and more what actually falls into this and what doesn't. I am writing this, because more and more I am feeling draw-blocked by this rule. I found myself staring at a blank screen wondering what to draw, so that it counts, instead of just drawing.
You see, for example I am sitting at a couch and I see a chair, a bookcase, a fish tank, a glass on the table. Or I sit outside in the inlaws' garden and see a garden pond that I want to draw. Or I see a potted plant and | just want to draw that. But guess what? | don't because I start overthinking - is this study? Does this count? Am I doing this wrong?

I'm adding something I did on my day 4 and what I did yesterday (which is about a month later). I know day 4 counts. but does yesterday count as well?
Has anyone been through this in a similar way and solved it somehow?

När du anger vart du vill resa till och från vid köp av Movingobiljett, kommer alltså dessa restriktioner för Sundbyberg station att begränsa sökresultatet.

Självklart får du dock kliva av i Sundbyberg när du reser mot Stockholm samt kliva på tåget som kommer från Stockholm.

Remember that the beauty of a rainbow is because its against a low saturated backdrop. Use saturation for points of interest.

MASSIVE PROTIP: if your drawing software has a color jitter setting for your brushes, you should absolutely use that setting. I used the same colors on these two but one was made w color jitter enabled.

PART TWO: basically: ORANGE is the warmest base color. Use GRAYS at the later stages if rendering. Look at how they appear cool or warm when surrounded by the relative colors of your work. COLOR THEORY IN PRACTICE IS LITERALLY 95% taking ADVANTAGE OF OPTICAL ILLUSIONS

I learned this when i discovered that those flashy rings in manga are called “monologue rings” and not “thought rings”. And those are also often used together with thought bubbles.

I did some test sketching yesterday with the new tablet, the colors are way better than the tv and my huion kamvas. The stylus use plain straight nibs so I might be able to DIY my own like in the good old days 👀 Its 22 inches so it was a bigger screen than I expected.
