it's so fucked up that 'roguelike' now means you get three random upgrades at the end of a level instead of "occasionally the game will generate a gnome with a wand of death and obliterate you (in the event that you havent already died accidentally falling down a set of stairs while overencumbered)"

Major breakthrough on the OS front: I have sector reading from ATA working! Sadly only with port IO right now, I really want to get bus mastering working. Still, for now I can progress with file system stuff.
