Wally has had a great start and I’m wondering if this means the beginning of the end for Gus. Only issue is that Pickard isn’t a legit backup IMO. What do y’all think?

I love how it seems like almost everybody is in some stage of burnout yet we all keep going because we have no other choice. This new “normal” kinda sucks… 😂

I hate saying this, but I’m not going to pay $139 a year for Prime plus $99 to watch the #mnwild

If only Ronnie Van Zant knew how prophetic he was when he wrote this song. Especially the line, “I can see the concrete slowly creeping’ / Lord, take me and mind before that comes.”

Should Duluth evacuate? It's complicated.

Faber making a full recovery is the most important thing. I sure hope he can come back from this and be an elite player still. It’d be a shame to see someone with that talent have their career end. I know this is super speculative, and I don’t usually like doing that. #mnwild

“Trump says he will officially rename artificial intelligence ‘super intelligence’ in an executive order.” I’m glad that the President is laser-focused on the important issues. Elect a clown, expect a circus.

I’m not going to be able to make the home opener for the Wild on Saturday. It’s just one seat, lower bowl behind the Wild’s net in the 1st and 3rd periods. Right on the aisle. #mnwild #NHLBruins seatgeek.com/e/events/182...

I wonder if LaFleur will be updating his LinkedIn during halftime? #GoPackGo

There’s bad, and then there’s 2026 Green Bay Packers bad. #GoPackG9

I wish the #mnwild would trade Hughes at this point. The guy is just jerking the organization around. I’m sick of the drama.

I hated to do it, but I gave in and turned my furnace on for the first time since spring.

000

I always love seeing the Bears lose!

000

It’s gonna be a LONG season for the Packers. Maybe (hopefully) the team will realize that Jordan Love isn’t the guy… 🤞

000

It’s gonna be a long and painful season… when’s the draft?!

I’d rather give up technology altogether than ever integrate Meta AI into anything of mine.

I’m done with this convo. Too much hatred coming from you. I hope you can find peace.

Not all rural Americans voted for Trump. Regardless, unless you grow all of your own food, don’t hate on farmers. I’m assuming you’ve never been on a farm and seen the amount of work that goes into it. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

If farmers suffer, everyone does. Where do you think our food comes from?

There’s no possible way to make public transportation work in rural areas. And, farmers need diesel tractors.

Gas in town is $4.49 a gallon. Driving is about to become a luxury activity…

Scary but true. And we don’t have leadership that’s even remotely competent.

There might be no pro sports team more annoying and obnoxious than the Dallas Cowboys.

For the first time ever, I’m just not excited about the @minnesotawild season. Which is a major bummer considering I bought partial season tickets. Anyone interested in a single seat in the lower bowl behind the Wild net 2x?

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei: "For too long the industry lied" about AI risks

At least they’re starting to admit the risk. This is a lot like the development of nuclear weapons. We can do it, but should we? Not saying that a bad outcome is the only possible outcome, but humanity needs to move more carefully with this technology.

Has anyone else sensed this feeling of “collective exhaustion” out in the world right now? It couldn’t be related to rising inflation, the worsening economy, the war with Iran, and the never-ending barrage of absolute foolishness coming from Washington, could it?

Luke Affolter @laffolter.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

As goes the price of diesel, so goes the cost of everything else.

I’m watching the Bears/Titans preseason game and Bears fans are chanting “Green Bay Sucks.” Packers living rent free in the heads of Bears fans! 😂

Luke Affolter @laffolter.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

My prediction for the #mnwild now is that they do resign Hughes for 3 years at just under $20M per season but aren’t able to get Larkin (or another top C).
