Valthera is coming together slowly. What is everyone's current passion project?

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yes, I missed posting last week. Sorry about that. I've been worldbuilding Valthera. I'm having fun with it. World Anvil has released Spooktober, 21 prompts based on Dune from Frank Herbert. These prompts have been interesting to work with in Valthera, though I'm just getting started with these.

Plugging away at updating tags on GoT article. Then I'll be going to my fantasy world.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

It's been a slow week. But I've been slowly getting my writing done. But mostly have been taking it easy and healing.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Well, writing is going pretty well. I've been working on Caelum Prime, putting in articles I need for writing book 2. I'll be finishing that today (I hope). I'll be taking a break from it before diving into writing. My fantasy world is calling after all.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Things are going well. Fantasy world, Valthera, is set up on World Anvil... CSS, templates and what not. I've even started worldbuilding. I will be switching back to Caelum Prime, most likely today. I'll be switching between the two words.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Another week has gone by. Haven't done much writing but I have started a fantasy world, inspired by the Meles Writing Challenge. It's nice to get back to my roots, so to speak and have a world that isn't steeped in darkness like Caelum Prime. But I'm not abandoning it.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Been taking the last week to relax. Haven't really done any writing but I have been reading some World Anvil Summer Camp articles. I'm judging one of the prompts.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Sorry for not posting last week. It was the last week of Tourney of Tales. I was busy getting words in. Due to rules, I did a little over 200k raw and just under 200k weighted. My novel is still in beta reads. I've got an outline done for book 2 in the series. I'll be writing the first draft soon.

Ra Ra I'm getting words for Game of Tomes.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I've been expanding the world of Caelum Prime as I get Summer Camp articles done. Been focusing on one nation that I've neglected. But Wave 3 does not fit with this nation. So I've been working on Game of Tomes articles with a few that will be in a secondary world that I'm still fleshing out.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

So far so good with my ankle. Still have quite a bit of healing to do though. And it's still gonna be about 2 months (minimum) before I can go back to work. Writing wise, I'm doing good with Summer Camp on World Anvil and counting my words for House Mollusca for Game of Tomes: Tourney of Tales.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

It feels like I'm healing well but we'll see at my first appointment tomorrow. My novel is ready for beta readers. I want to thank people who have expressed interest. I'm going to keep my first round small for the time being. Especially with the content warnings I have.

Good Afternoon. Gotta do some formatting and then I pass my novel off to some beta readers. Summer Camp on World Anvil starts this coming Saturday. I had my ankle surgery this morning. It went well. Time to heal.

I've been recording my Twitch streams and uploading them on YouTube. I stream at the same time everyday but I understand that time doesn't work for everyone. Twitch Schedule: 4pm to 8pm Here's the YouTube link: www.youtube.com/@wynterlight... There's many background sounds to chose from.

Another week down and one week to go till surgery. I'm making excellent progress on my editing. I'm almost done with the grammar fixes. Then it will be a listen through. It's nice making progress and feeling like I'm actually getting somewhere.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Two weeks until my ankle surgery. In the meantime, I continue to edit my novel. I'm hoping to have it passed off to beta readers soon.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

I finished the typing I needed to do, which included me typing up a new scene that I had written (by hand of course). This new scene I really enjoyed because I was able to give some depth to my main character's relationship with one of his brothers. I will be continuing the editing process.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

I've finished my handwritten edits of my main character's notes on the stories he's read. Changing third to first person was hard. I've managed to get 15 of them typed up in the last few days. I found a few instances of third person that I fixed. My aim is to finish my edits in the next few weeks.

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

Don't have that much to talk about this week. I'm still chipping away at editing my novel. But here's the cover for it.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Brain hasn't been fully cooperating but I'm slowly chipping away at editing my novel. I'm a bit stressed as I try to deal with my ankle. I'm going to have to have surgery soon but I don't know when yet. And I'm not working because that means standing which hurts my ankle. So, I could use some help

Game of Tomes: Tourney of Tales wrapped up at the end of April. I got quite a lot accomplished even though I didn't hit the word count goal I set myself for the month. I got close. This Saturday we find out how well we all did. Still working on editing my novel, changing tenses in a few areas.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

Four days left in April so four days left for tourney. I'm still editing. I'm get the words out which is good. I'm proud of what I've accomplished this month. Still trying to hit my goal of 200,000 words this month. Not sure if I'm gonna make it but I'm gonna try.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Forgot to post yesterday. But at least I can say I crossed a 100k words yesterday. Plugging away at editing my novel. It's gotta get done. I'm going strong for House Mollusca and it's fun hosting the Tourney. It's especially fun to have Queen Tara of #chiroptera.

020

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Well, still chipping away at my word count goal for Game of Tomes: Tourney of Tales. But words are getting written and I have almost finished typing up my novel.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

April and Game of Tomes: Tourney of Tales is underway. I'm getting things done to include editing my novel, GoT character articles, and Night Monarch election stuff. I'm behind where I'd like to be on word count, considering my goal. Not stressing though. Gonna chip away at and see what happens.

010

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

It's been a busy week. While I only got a few chapters typed up and edited, I did put together a lore video for Game of Tomes. It was a lot of work (which involved a lot of cussing and brain meltage) but ultimately very rewarding to have a finished product.

100

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Getting my novel typed up is going faster. I'm nearly halfway done. And I'm gearing up for April Tourney with Game of Tomes. It's gonna be fun.

010

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

It's been a bit slow for getting things done but I am making progress on typing up my novel and getting more edits done. Gotta admit the Twitch streaming helps keep me accountable in getting the work done. Most days at any rate. It's nice to see everything coming together.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

Woot! Starting the type up phase of my novel that I've been editing by hand. Got more edits to do but at least the first round is done. Still streaming on Twitch.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 04/03/2026

Mid-week update. Progress is being made. Got a new section written and only have a few scenes left to hand edit. Here comes the part that always makes me cringe (and a bit anxious). If you can, could you support me on Ko-fi. You can buy me a coffee or commission some editing. ko-fi.com/ladywynter

Just checking in. My writing/editing progress is going well, though slowly since I got sick last week. How your writing going? What are you working on?

010

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

It's been a slow week but I've been getting things done.

010

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

Chugga Chugga Chooo. Getting things done. Will be doing a long stream tomorrow and playing some Lost Ark first.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Progress is being made with both editing my work in progress and with the Molluscan Word Crawl for Game of Tomes.

010

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

It's been the same grind as last week. Yet progress is being made. Stream schedule remains unchanged. Question: What is your beverage of choice when writing?

100

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

Spending time with family today as it's my son's birthday. But I have gotten more editing done. I've also got a character article completed for GoT and started on a settlement for this universe. Stream schedule remains the same.

000

Lady Wynter @ladywynter.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Meant to post yesterday. Forget since I didn't put it on my to do list. Editing is coming along. Been working on Game of Tomes articles. It's been a good week. Stream schedule on Twitch remains the same.
