Exactly! The joy we find in life IS the point. I see that now. There are so many who would deny themselves and others joy for a multitude of reasons, and it's taken me long to realise that they're wrong. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, I will radically pursue joy.

After the webcomic Megatokyo became.... What it ended up becoming, people were really thirsty for a new nerdy funny comic and they flocked to Scott Pilgrim. I'm glad I was there to witness it, it's these gems of the early Internet really.

Scott Pilgrim was an indie comic book series that got turned into a live action movie with Michael Cera just at the cusp of him becoming an overdone meme, and it had a death grip on the comic scene for a few years 😂

And sometimes the preposition folks use about a place, for example, just defies all logic. But that's what the people who live there use, so that's the correct one apparently. We have the same weirdness in Norwegian tbh, where some villages you're "on" despite it not being a mountain top at all.

My Samsung tracker claims I've totalled 61km this week, pokemon go says a little more at 67, it's probably in between that. At my weight and at my general fitness levels, I'm fucking impressed with myself for managing that. It feels like a massive feat. I am proud of what I've done.

Damn. So after 6 days this week doing pokemon go raids, my body just pulled the emergency break and forced me to cut today's route short. After just a couple hours everything hurt so much I had to abort and head home. It meant I missed out on my goal for today, but there was nothing I could do. 😩

I did, I got up early and made fried eggs on toast and had a food break in the middle and I did indeed catch what I wanted! A 100% mewtwo with the mega x affinity. I took a break in the middle to get my glasses fixed and get some bakery food, and now I'm resting feet up on my balcony. A lovely day!

It really was! The airfield trip was an impulse side quest that none of us knew about when we arrived at Stjørdal, but one of the team mates of my friend mentioned it wishing she could go - and we had a car, so we made it happen!

Went to a smaller town outside the city, where my friend was competing in the regional speed puzzle competition. Single, Double and Team - she won all three. In between Double and Team we went to the local airfield for an open day at the small plane club, and saw an aerial show among others!
