One of my students gave me this sweet gift this morning.

I had never heard of dry erase crayons before. I did find them on Amazon when I looked to see what they are. I will do some research.

Check out these cool dry erase cursive practice mats! I am excited to try these with my students. At the bottom it says to use Teacher Created Resources dry erase crayons with the mats. I wonder if regular dry erase markers would ruin the mats?

Today I went to a Teacher Depot event and was able to get all of these donations for my students. I am so grateful for this wonderful event. I won the green basket during the raffle and they also gave us a gift certificate to take our own kids bowling. Thank you is not enough!

I agree. I wish we had had one closer. I had never heard of such an event but I had randomly seen this one scrolling Facebook one day and asked if I could attend even though my school is 45 minutes away. They were very welcoming. Our school is Title 1 so this is going to help so much!

No it was an event from a local non profit. Well kinda local it was 45 minutes away.

Yes! It was so nice! They had donut holes and coffee when we came in, they did raffles and Raising Canes had a booth. They had so many supplies on so many tables and they were encouraging us to take as much as we need for our students.

Today we celebrated The Dot Day in my classroom. The Dot is a book by Peter H. Reynolds about a girl who doesn't feel she is good at art but learns that everyone can be creative and make their mark. Today was a full day of fun!

My students worked in groups to show numbers in different forms. They worked hard together and were able show their work to the class after I taught them how to do it! I am so proud of my class!

I have to tell a funny story from today. All of our 2nd graders were lining up and a little boy in another 2nd grade class looked down and saw my shoes. Kid: Those are kids shoes Me: I know I have small feet Kid: That's okay kids shoes are better adult shoes are boring 😆 Clearly I need new shoes lol

I have a great class this year! We are getting the routine and stamina for work in 2nd grade. I am not sure what is was about today though. I had 4 kids crying over various little things. So glad tomorrow is Friday!

Went to my classroom today and got a lot of work done. Still a lot to do to be ready for the first day. However, I absolutely love this new rack for all my curriculum teacher guides and my desk is looking nice to match my new classroom theme. Next will be putting up my new decor.

LadyAndromeda @ladyandromeda.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

My husband put my new classroom banner up today and we laminated all my new decor. Now I have to cut it all out so we can start decorating my classroom!

I have been trying to figure out a way to organize the headphones in my classroom and have tried several things last school year that failed but I found this and I think this one might work! Should I try it?
