Just published 14th January! Beautifully written by @mickeydubrow.bsky.social and is a blend of history and time-travel fantasy. Small but meaningful insights into Judaism which added depth for me. Thoroughly captivating from start to finish. I devoured this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Thanks NetGalley for the ARC)

Every time I start a new book, my cat starts plotting how to knock it out of my hands. (Or chase the book light like he’s prey for an angler fish)

It’s 30°C / 86°F here today and it isn’t even officially summer yet. So I’m parked up in my new hanging chair, with a drink, a new book, and the breeze. Bliss. 💙📚 #booksky #nzsummer

Books are great, but have you ever had a cat purring next to you while you read? Peak happiness. 💙📚🐱 #books #booksky #catsofbluesky

Took a wee group of youth out to the local lagoon today, to get stuck into a community volunteering project. (My paid job is running the local volunteer services centre). Saw this beautiful black swan just swimming around in the sun.

Thundernerds was amazing!! Sadly @andrewhunterm.bsky.social couldn’t be there but Kiwi Josh Thompson filled in. @schreiberland.bsky.social and Anna and James were fab too! So many laughs shared with my daughter and I think she may now be a No Such Thing As A Fish fan! #thundernerds #christchurch

The whole furry family wanted to be introduced and wouldn’t take no for an answer so… Loki the dog (age 10) Tibby the black cat (age 5) Hendrix the short hair tabby (age 13) Dewey the fluffy tabby (age 5) All very sweet but also prone to acts of rebellion that are immediately forgiven #pets
