A nurse in Victoria wanting to be part of positive change. Equality & equity for all. Hatefulness not tolerated.

YOUR DOCTOR DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK LIKE YOU TO SAVE YOUR LIFE. Your nurse doesn't have to share your skin colour, birthplace, accent or religion to care for you. They do have the right to come to work without being racially abused. If that offends you, the problem isn't the healthcare worker.

Renewables just supplied more than 80% of demand on Australia's main grid, while excess wind and solar were being curtailed. The problem is increasingly moving all that cheap power where it's needed. So naturally: scrap transmission. 🤦⚡

Pauline said no, then yes, then no — while explaining she hadn't flip-flopped. The next morning she defended changing her mind as often as she wanted. No parody required. Sometimes the safest approach is simply to put the quotes next to each other. 😵‍💫🇦🇺

Barnaby says he’s not Jesus Christ. Just as well. Middle Eastern, foreign-born, fed the poor without modelling the cost and preached “love thy neighbour”? Jesus might want to keep his passport handy. 🐧😂 Same outrage. Different target.

Thirty years of grievance can become a habit. Same outrage, new target, repeat. Perhaps before the next rebuttal we should try the traditional IT solution: turn the grievance off, wait a moment, then switch it back on. Empathy update optional. 🐧😂
