tfw I want to read discussions about a manga that I really like (and have really liked since the beginning), but the series is not popular enough in the west for there to be discussions about it 😭

So this game called "Dverghold" came across my Steam homepage. Interesting retro vibes, apparently collabing with a dungeon synth artist for the OST. The art was kinda tickling my AI-dar though, so I scrolled down to look for any disclaimers.

I can easily make coffee on my own, or my husband can make coffee for me (and he makes really good coffee), but I also miss going to Starbucks. I used to go every morning or almost every morning, and there's just something I miss about that experience.

I started doing that "9 anime that shaped who I am" thing but the only ones I could think of were Sailor Moon and DBZ

imagining the accent of this kid is really funny... raised by parents with a "Northern English" and "Romanian" accent, and also exposed to people all over the world from birth

(FFXIV) Made Naya and Kyron's daughter ingame, because why not. I love her tiny tail and ears 🥺

It's very scary to know that if my husband can't get a job by next year (he's being trying for years), we'll lose our Medicaid. Which, yknow, we're on because we have no income. Without Medicaid, we can't afford any of my medications, especially my meds for multiple sclerosis.

So I don't have to get another MRI for a year, and this also means that the medicine is working for me so I don't need to mess around with that. I'm happy 💃

My neurologist just called to talk about my MRI. No new lesions and no active (being currently attacked) lesions! 😀

This is what I mean when I say that its depressing doing art, writing fics, gposing, ect and getting crickets in response. "Do it because you like it" only goes so far when fandom is supposed to be nerds and creatives supporting each other.

‘Don’t want any smoke on her’ { #art #sinners }

Illustration of Annie from sinners holding her baby in a embroidered white dress. She is standing in a lake near plants and tree branches. She is looking down at her baby happily with her mouth open, as if humming or singing a song to her.

The Head Cage they use is this one. It's quite fashionable. I wish I had a picture of me in it, because that honestly sounds hilarious. Embracing the MRIcore.

(FFXIV) I dislike Crucible very much. I couldn't even clear the very first battle of the first board, and I'm not at all motivated to try again. Sucks that it's required to continue the BST quests.

Eva @lacepockets.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I cannot, in fact, listen to music. The headphones they have are too big for the Head Cage. 😭

She's not hostile or anything, not really. We just can't make sense of anything she says and she will not disengage.

Eva @lacepockets.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

She like spawn camps too. She spends a lot of time standing on her stoop, which is near ours, and when we have to take our dog out she comes up to us

Eva @lacepockets.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Like I just want to walk my dog, but she will straight up follow me and keep talking

How do you deal with an old lady who will cross the street to approach you on sight and talk at you nonsensically (she seems to have cognitive issues)??? She even does this when I'm on the phone or clearly doing something 😭

Eva @lacepockets.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

the head cage is actually called a coil but that's weird to me because it does not look coily

000

Eva @lacepockets.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Big MRI day tomorrow (brain & my entire spine) that will probably take multiple hours. I wonder if they'll let me listen to music........ I'm unsure about that bc they never offered before & also I have to wear a head cage the entire time. If I can listen to music, I wonder if I can play Kalafina 🤔
