Breaking news for migrant rights! The Vasquez Perdomo v. Noem's lawsuit challenged the unlawful stops and arrests that prevented the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) including ICE from conducting immigration raids across Southern California based on predatory stops and warrantless arrests.

ICE raids and the associated police/military presence have wreaked havoc upon our communities. This weekend, we learned that dozens of our siblings, including garment workers and car wash workers, were captured, and many have not yet been released or given due process.

🏳️‍🌈 We celebrate Barbara Smith, a Black, Feminist, LGBTQ+ icon and co-founder of Combahee River Collective (CRC) in the 1970s. ⛓️‍💥 The CRC was a Black feminist collective that challenged racism in the feminist movement and sexism and homophobia within the Civil Rights Movement.
