Our health care system is the most expensive in the world partly because health care companies spend $14 billion annually on lobbyists to convince politicians to not support #MedicareForAll. Instead of spending that $14 billion on, oh don't know, ACTUAL HEALTH CARE!

12 million+ American children have no health insurance. Providing them w/ Medicare = those children having access to health interventions, preventing current health issues from worsening or becoming more complicated and expensive to treat as they age. It would save children’s lives.

We did everything we were told. The USA healthcare system took all of our savings and retirement and forced us to refinance our house so that we lost 15 years of equity. This is a country I'm supposed to be proud of? I’m no great fan of the ACA. I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system. But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.
